Anymore! Citizens' Council (KOREUMI) calls for global
action on April 13!
On April 13, 2021,
the Japanese government announced its decision to discharge radioactive wastewater
from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the Pacific Ocean. It is expected that the dumping will
begin in the summer of 2023. Having experienced the devastating Fukushima Daiichi
nuclear disaster, we cannot allow any additional spread of radioactivity into
the environment.
To hand over the clean ocean to
the future generations, let's hold action
on or around April 13, 2023, and
send our firm message of "STOP dumping radioactive wastewater!" echoing from all over
Japan and around the world!
We welcome any actions
by an individual or a group. An action could be held on or around April 13. Please
send us photos of your actions. We would like to share them on our
blog and Facebook page in solidarity with friends across the world. Thank you!
